Rossdales Lab Guide: The electronic adaptation of Rossdales booklet ‘Beaufort Cottage Laboratories Guide to Equine Clinical Pathology’.

Available for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. The Guide has been produced by Sidney Ricketts LVO DESM DipECEIM FRCPath FRCVS, Alastair Foote FRCPath MRCVS and Annalisa Barrelet MRCVS, Beaufort Cottage Laboratories team of experienced equine pathologists. It provides an invaluable resource for equine veterinary clinicians, students, residents and specialists.

The App provides a wealth of useful advice including using clinical pathological aids to diagnosis in equine practice, sampling requirements, reference ranges, haematology, clinical chemistry, endocrinology, urinalysis, parasitology, microbiology, cytology, histology, necropsy examinations and biopsy sampling. There are tables of laboratory reference ranges for adult non-Thoroughbred horses, Thoroughbred neonatal and older foals, yearlings, 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds and adults at stud.

The App is provided free and is an invaluable resource for 
all involved in equine practice.
